• Amber Fort

The journey begins with the breathtaking Amber Fort, built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh. This UNESCO World Heritage Site showcases grand courtyards, Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), Diwan-e-Aam, and traditional frescoes. Jeep rides to the top are optional. The fort’s location on a hilltop offers fantastic views of Maota Lake below.

• Jal Mahal (Water Palace)

After Amber, stop for photos at the serene Jal Mahal, situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Though visitors aren’t allowed inside, the floating architecture and backdrop of the Aravalli hills make it a top photography spot.

• City Palace Jaipur

In the heart of the city lies the City Palace, which still houses the royal family. Explore the museum filled with royal costumes, weapons, and art. Marvel at Pritam Niwas Chowk's painted gates and the Chandra Mahal’s royal quarters (entry optional).

• Jantar Mantar (Observatory)

Right next to the City Palace, discover the astronomical brilliance of Maharaja Jai Singh II. The Jantar Mantar features a collection of 19 architectural instruments including the Samrat Yantra, the world’s largest sundial.

• Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)

End your day with a visit to the iconic Hawa Mahal — the five-story facade with 953 jharokhas (windows). It was built in 1799 to allow royal women to watch city life without being seen. Ideal for a photo break and historical insight.

Day 2 – Temples, Local Life & Shopping

• Galta Ji (Monkey Temple)

Start your day with a visit to Galta Ji Temple, a sacred site surrounded by hills. Famous for its natural springs, holy kunds (water tanks), and playful monkeys, this temple offers a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.

• Birla Mandir (Laxmi Narayan Temple)

Made of pure white marble, this modern-day temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi is not just a place of worship but a stunning example of contemporary Hindu architecture.

Local Market Visit – Shopping in Jaipur

• Bapu Bazaar – for block-printed textiles, juttis, and souvenirs
